Thursday was Halloween in Ada, but these are not Halloween photos.

Last week, Ada students  wore crazy socks to school - as these photos show - in support of Red Ribbon Week, sponsored by the Beta Club. The effort is an update on Nancy Reagan's "Just say no to drugs."

Members of the Student Bar Association await hay riders on Saturday evening at War Memorial Park.

Autumn in Ada -- hayrides, cider and popcorn.

From left are Megan Daley, Tim Murphy, Lisa Brodley, Joe Derkin who is SBA president, Bailey Higgins, and Erica Hess. The association, which is made up of all law students, provided the hayride as a community service. (Monty Siekerman photo)

Liberty National Bank employees in Ada are excited for Raegan Cox who will have a live audition for the popular NBC show "America's Got Talent" at Cobo Center in Detroit on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Raegan's mom, Heather, works at the bank. Reagan, 11, is a sixth grader at Miller City Schools where she participates in choir and band. She has participated in a state-wide choir, sang for St. Nicholas Catholic Church for the Children’s Mass, and entertains in nursing homes.

She has accomplished all of this without any voice lessons - a natural talent.

“Stand up, Ada fans, and join us in cheering on our Bulldogs as the Ada High School Marching Band plays the fight song for our team!”

Do these words stir you to jump up out of your seat and applaud as the team takes the field, the cheerleaders leap into synchronized action, the color guard waves their bulldog flags, and the band fills the stadium with that familiar, heart pounding beat that proclaims another football Friday night in Ada, Ohio?
