Did you have breakfast with Santa at The Inn on Saturday?

It was a sell out

By Monty Siekerman
Santa has his hands full and is happy to hear the Christmas wishes of Myah, 6, Bennett, 3, and Corbin, 7 months, at The Inn on Saturday.

They are the children of Justin and Jessica Keckler of Harrod. Kids not only had an opportunity to recite what they want for Christmas (parents, are you listening and taking notes) but also received a present and mighty fine breakfast from the buffet.

Parents received a photo of their child with Santa that was put into a magnetic frame, a perfect remembrance of the event. Asked how many attended, Inn General Manager Tallene Eichelberger said, "We always sell out."

2017 dog tags available in Ada and McGuffey

By Monty Siekerman
Three locations in Ada and one in McGuffey are now selling 2017 dog tags for $16. Liberty National Bank, Metz Petz, Ada Animal Hospital, all in Ada, and the Ram's Roost in McGuffey have the license tags for sale.

If you have a dog and are caught without a license, you could be fined $25 to $150 for the first offense. Tags must be purchased by Jan. 31 for dogs 3 months old or older.

Money from the fees supports the dog warden and shelter. A lost dog with a tag is more likely to be returned to its owner.
