School board holds annual evaluation of superintendent and treasurer

Special meeting called March 25

Ada school board has scheduled a special meeting for its annual evaluations of its superintendent and treasurer.

The meeting wlll be in executive session and no formal action is anticipated. The meeting is at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 25.

Health Department holds drive-up clinic Saturday

10 a.m. to noon for 40 and older

The Kenton Hardin Health Department will hold a drive-thru clinic at the Hardin County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.

This vaccine will be Johnson & Johnson vaccine and will be a first come first serve for those that are eligible. The current eligibility as of March 19 is: 40+ years of age.

Ohioans with cancer, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart disease, and obesity and any other prior authorized health condition will be eligible for this clinic.

Ada High School award-winning Varsity Singers present its 2020-21 show twice on Saturday, March 27, according to Scott Henning.

The performance is the Singers' home concert prior to its final show at Medina High School on Saturday, April 10.

115 years and going strong

Ada High School's Interclass competition was livestreamed on Friday. Here's Luci Wall, presenting her essay "Does Capitalism negatively influence our mental health?" She won first place in the essay competition. Other winners were Rebekah Walkeer, poetry; Amelia Alexander, short story; and Dexter Woods, dramatic reading. The overall class winner were this year's seniors.
