ONU sophomore Ola Latala (Grosse Ile, Mich.) has been named the Women's Tennis Ohio Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for the week.
The sophomore earned the honor for the first time in her career.
Latala led the way for ONU last week, posting a perfect 3-0 record at No. 3 singles and going 2-1 record in doubles play at No. 1 doubles.
In ONU's only loss of the week, Latala led the way at No. 3 singles with a 6-1, 6-4 victory.
The sophomore won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 singles against Albion (Mich.) and followed the performance up with a 6-4, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles against Adrian (Mich.).
