Women’s track and field highly ranked
The Ohio Northern women's indoor track and field team moved back into the top-5 of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association power rankings as it was ranked No. 5 in the third weekly edition of the rankings.
The Polar Bears moved back into the top-5 after being ranked No. 5 in the preseason poll. ONU jumped two spots from its No. 7 ranking a week ago.
ONU moved up after strong showings at the Joe Banks Invitational and the Camel City Elite Races this past weekend.
ONU received 76.20 points in the rankings, while Williams (Mass.) took the No. 1 spot with 106.07 points, Oberlin was ranked second with 93.58 points and MIT rounded out the top-3 with 92.62 points.
The Polar Bears return to action this weekend as they travel to Westerville to compete in the All-Ohio Championships.
