The Ada Senior Citizens will celebrate Christmas with a breakfast at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. Dec. 12 at Community Health Professionals. They will also assemble goodie bags for those who are physically unable to attend meetings.
Activities and trips for 2019 will be discussed at the next meeting at 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 at CHP.
Those who are 55 and over may join the Senior Citizens for $10.
The Inn will offer a two-night option for their monthly PaintINN in December. Paint a polar bear or porch sitter. Either is available on Dec. 10 and 11. The PaintINN will begin at 6 p.m. and includes art supplies, instruction, food, and beverage. Cost is $38 plus tax and gratuity. Call 419-772-2500 to reserve a place.

County Line Church of the Brethren hosts a Christmas carnival from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 16 at the church, 4227 N. Hardin Road.
The carnival will include:
- Carnival games and prizes
- Dessert bake-off competition - with prizes
- 9-hole mini golf
- Christmas carols
- All activities are family friendly

Time is running out in the Ada Public Library's holiday auction.
The auction, which has items of interest for children, youth, and adults, will conclude Saturday, Dec. 1.
The items have been donated by individuals, businesses, and organizations from Ada and surrounding towns.
Proceeds will benefit the summer reading program. Some items include a gift certificate to Kaleidoscope Farms (think Christmas trees), Dietsch’s chocolate, a Wilson football, LED lantern, haircut, and a giant beanbag chair.
Make plans to attend the free viewing of "The Polar Express,' staring Tom Hanks, shown at the Ada Theatre at noon, Saturday, Dec. 8.
Century 21 Sunway Realty, LLC, sponsors the free show, according to Becky Reed of the realty company. "The free show is a gift from us to the community," she said, adding, " We will hand out gift bags to the first 100 attending."
