Enough power to supply 123 homes annually

Repairs are currently underway on the wind turbines located on campus, two of which have been inoperable due to lightning strikes, and they should be operational in a few weeks. ONU has amended and extended its contract with NexGen, which will cover all costs to repair and upgrade the turbines. Each turbine is 220 feet tall and generates 400 kilowatts of power or enough to supply 123 homes annually. (Monty Siekerman photo)
