A impressive 15% of new students are legacies, according to the Ohio Northern Alumni Journal. Legacies (pictured) means that at least one of their relatives graduated from ONU. The Alumni Journal also reports that the number of new students is up nearly 8% compared to last year. President Dan DiBiasio commented, "The high-quality academic profile of our new student class is similar to previous years and ahead of past years regarding student diversity."
