21 shovels and one polar bear
Dignitaries break ground: 20 people (and one Polar Bear) heave dirt to symbolize the beginning of construction of a new $30 million engineering building. Heavy equipment and an army of workers will arrive just after commencement in May to actually start construction. Completion is set for the beginning of classes in the fall of 2019.
