Pool party

When you mix water, pizza, and slime, what do you get? A pizza pool party for those who have signed up for the summer reading program at the Ada Public Library. On a sunny and hot Wednesday afternoon, 176 club readers took advantage of the fun day which began with a swim, followed by free pizza, and finally sliming. Library Director Rhett Grant and Natalie Walton, youth services director, got slimed with a gooey mix by those in attendance. The library sponsors many events during the summer reading program. Here are kids enjoying cooling off under the pool umbrella. See the next photo for a larger view of the umbrella. (Monty Siekerman photo)
