AHS volleyball falls to Wildcats

The visiting Ada High School volleyball team lost a four-setter to Vanlue in non-conference play on Thursday night, September 29.

The Lady Bulldogs won the first set 25-23, but then dropped the last three 19-25, 13-25, 14-25 dropped the Ada season record to 9-9 overall. Vanlue improved to 7-7 with the win.

Ada senior libero Courtney Sumner came up with 28 digs.

Junior setter Autumn Andreasen doled out 24 assists, made a dozen digs, made two blocks and served an ace.

Junior Daicy Robinson hammered 10 kills and made two blocks to pace 

AHS football hosts Spencerville Sept. 30

This Friday, September 30, the Ada High School football team will host struggling but occasionally explosive Spencerville in week seven.

The Bearcats sport the identical records as Ada at 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the NWC. They have lost four in a row after being trounced by league leader Allen East (5-1, 3-0 NWC) last Friday by a 58-14 count.

VIA sells electric chassis cabs to Pegasus Specialty Vehicles

A deal valued at $170M+, with deliveries of the Class 3 cutaway chassis cabs to begin in 2024

AUBURN HILLS, Mich.--Via Motors, a leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer announced that it has received a purchase order for 2,000 Class 3 VIA electric cutaway chassis cabs from Pegasus Specialty Vehicles of Dunkirk. Pegasus will leverage the flexibility of VIA’s commercial products to build Type A school buses, electric shuttles and paratransit buses. Pegasus has a dealership network throughout the United States, including Creative Bus Sales, the nation’s largest bus dealership.
