The Ada High School varsity softball team dropped an 11-1 non-league contest at Hardin County rival Kenton Wednesday evening, April 27.

The Lady Bulldogs dropped to 3-10 after the defeat. The Wildcats improved to 4-7 with the win.

Kenton scored four runs in the first inning and never trailed. Wildcat Macee Heckathorn smacked a two-run homer to highlight the opening frame.

"The first inning hurt," said Ada head coach Jeff Bassitt. "We couldn't get anything rolling with the bats. We had a few errors that killed us."

Kenton stretched its lead to 9-0 after four innings.

By Karen Kier, Pharmacist on behalf of the ONU HealthWise team

Two things come to mind when I think about bread. Interestingly, the group chose their name after getting stuck behind a Wonder bread truck.  But today, I want to focus on celiac disease and the gluten proteins found in many delicious forms of bread.
