BEREA — Senior Devon Allen (Lima/Senior) tied a season-high with 27 points, leading the Ohio Northern men's basketball team to a 94-76 victory at Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday night at Ursprung Gymnasium.
The Polar Bears (13-7 overall, 11-2 Ohio Athletic Conference) run their winning streak to eight games and remain in a first place tie atop the league standings with No. 15-ranked Marietta.
The Yellow Jackets fall to 9-11, 4-9.
Allen scored 21 of his 27 points in the first half on 7-of-10 shooting from 3-point range as ONU led 53-44 at intermission.
The Ada Public Library fifth annual chocolate bake off will be 6 p.m.,Thursday, Feb. 9, at the library. Plan to enter the contest. Free and open to all. Not a baker? You are invited to indulge in the chocolate goodies anyway. Here's a sampling from last year's bake off.
