Ada council reorganized for 2019 on Tuesday with the exception of the replacement of Beth Fenton by Ken Lauria in early December, many of the committees will remain the same.

We didn't check the price of gas today, but on Jan. 9 you could buy a gallon in Ada for a hair over $1.95 a gallon. The price stopped more traffic than did the stop light at the corner of State Route 81 and 235.
A new year craft and vendor show will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, in the Ada Depot.
Vendors include: Color Street Nails, Thirty One Gifts, Pink Zebra, Damsel in Defense, Premier Designs, Lula Roe, Avon, Paparazzi, Tupperware, Younique, Ultra cell Full Spectrum Hemp Oil and Car Seat Ponchos.
The Ohio Northern women's basketball program trailed the visiting Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets 30-15 at the halftime break, but outscored the OAC foe 38-16 over the final 20 minutes to send the 150-plus spectators inside the ONU Sports Center home happy on Wednesday evening.
With the come-from-behind victory, the Polar Bears climb to 9-5 overall and to 3-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Meanwhile, Baldwin Wallace drops to 10-4 on the season and to 4-3 against the OAC circuit.

The Polar Bears fall to 4-10 overall and are 0-7 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Yellow jackets are now 10-4, 4-3.
