Want to win an evening's stay at The Inn at ONU? It's one of the raffle prizes at Saturday, first-ever Fun Run For ReStore. Here are the details.
Three community groups joined efforts to create the first-ever fun Run for ReStore fund raiser set for 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, in Ada.
The race, which is still accepting entrants, is sponsored by Ada Restore, ONU Fellowship of Christian Athletes and ONU’s Tau Beta Pi engineers.
Funds raised in the race will support the work of Ada Restore, which is assisting the community in several ways. According to sponsors, this is the first of many fun runs to come, which will help in bringing the community together.
Here’s what you need to know if you plan to participate:
Start: Pavilion by ONU mud volleyball courts off Fraternity Circle near the back of the ONU campus
When: 10 a.m. starting time, Saturday, May 5
Cost: Race day registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Pavilion. Race entry fee $10 with no t-shirt given; $20 with t-shirt given runners; $10 for t-shirts sold separately.
Raffle: An evening stay in The Inn at ONU, a $200 value (donated by The Inn at ONU) will be raffled. Other prizes are available. Tickets are $2 each or $five for $9. Persons do not need to be present to win.
Awards: Medals go to the top runners in each age group of females and mailes. Also medals go to the top male and female finisher.
Race age groups: Under 18; 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55 and older.
