It does not cover accidents that may occur during fund-raising and service projects when no negligence or evidence of failure to provide proper supervision is found. The insurance protects members, clubs, districts, and Kiwanis International against legal liability, which generally accrues from a negligent act or failure to act, resulting in bodily injury to a person or damage to property. -Something to consider: A Quote from the Notable..John Maxwell. Dustin Brooks gave a program on interesting and useful facts.
He explained some interesting aspects of the solar system including the number of planets.
He then talked about the ongoing discussions by scientists to explain why ice is slippery, the engineering of how a bicycle works and why it stays balanced.
He noted that mathematicians have not determined how to predict the odds of winning Klondike Solitaire.
He concluded by saying we cannot determine the exact length of the U.S. coastline (or any coastline for that matter) because the closer you examine the length the longer the length becomes.
President Harold Friesner then adjourned the meeting at 12:52 p.m.
The Ada Kiwanis Club meets weekly at 12:00 noon at McIntosh Center (Activities Room #7), ONU. Guests are always welcome.
