Phillip Zoladz, Ph.D., Ohio Northern University professor of psychology, will present his research findings on psychedelics at a press conference to be held at the November 2023 Society for Neuroscience conference in Washington, D.C. His research explores the potential of psilocybin to enhance exposure therapy’s effectiveness in individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Zoladz is one of several presenters the Society selected to introduce their intriguing and important findings to journalists.

The Ada Community Improvement Corporation held its second meeting for 2023 at the Ada Depot in October. The meeting is an opportunity for board members and stakeholders to discuss developments in the village and to conduct business “for the sole purpose of advancing, encouraging, and promoting industrial, economic, commercial and civic development of our Ada Community and Area.”

"Here are the most recent numbers on Pantry use. It's been several years since so many people have needed our assistance. We thank everyone who continues to support us with gifts of food, funds and prayer."
The chart shows that in August 2023 individuals served reached 175, the highest number during the reporting period beginning in 2016.
The highest number served in prior years reported was 150 in November 2022. The lowest number served was between 25-50 in March and April of 2021.
