Jean C. Fultz, age 93, Friday, June 01, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Kenton, Ohio.
She was born March 3, 1919 in McGuffey, Ohio to Lawrence and Virginia (Dunson) Shrider and both are deceased. She married Vernon Fultz on September 18, 1937 and he died May 28, 1993.
Jean worked for Wilson Sporting Goods in Ada, Ohio for 34 years retiring in the early 1980s.
She was a member of the McGuffey Church of Christ. Jean made lots of quilts for her family.
Suvivors include: 1 daughter: Joyce (Stanley) Hunt of Kenton, Ohio; 1 sister: Anna Rose Ramsdell of Lima, Ohio; 2 grandchildren: Jeana (Neal) Rohrs and Monica Mangano; 4 great grandchildren: A.J. and Luke Rohrs and Elizabeth and Alex Mangano; and two great great grandchildren: Emma and Owen Rohrs.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; 1 brother: Joe Shrider; and two sisters: Marjorie Wies and Fern Fleece Stevenson.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Rick Grayshock officiating.
Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger, Ohio
FRIENDS MAY CALL 2:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, June 3, 2012 and until the time of the service on Monday at Hanson-Neely Alger, Ohio.
