New owners for Health Trends Gym and Tanning; grand opening June 29-30
Ada’s newest business owner is Ursula Minich of Alger. She recently purchased Health Trends Gym and Tanning at 123. E. Buckeye Ave. Minich and her daughter, Heather Winegardner, will operate the business.
The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new owners into the community with a ribbon cutting on June 5.
The business offers a wide assortment of options to residents. According to Minich, these include:
• 24-hour gym access – lots of free weights, trend mills, elliptical machines and stationary bikes
• 24-hour laundry – with wifi
• 14 tanning beds, including one mystic tan booth and one ultra bronze bed
• Zumba, gymnastic and Jiu-jitsu classes
• Massages – offered by Heather Winegardner, soon to be a LMT
• Nutrition supplements
• U-haul rentals
• Certified fitness trainer available – Arty Petitt
Minich said that there are several options for persons to use the Health Trends facilities. These include annual or monthly membership. See her for complete details.
Business hours are:
Mondays through Thursdays 9 a.m. tyo 9 p.m.
Fridays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
An open house grand opening is planned. It is Friday, June 29, from 2 to 6 p.m., and Saturday, June 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During the open house persons may sign up for Zumba, gymnastics and Jiu-jitsu classes. Persons may also sign up for massages and purchase gift certificates. During the open house lotions and mystic tan will be 50 percent off.
