Sara Belle Vermillion
Sara Belle Vermillion, age 85, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 12:07 AM at her residence in McGuffey, Ohio.
She was born October 27, 1926 in Hardin County, Ohio to William and Corleane (Griffin) Paugh who preceded her in death. On August 12, 1942 she married George Daniel Vermillion, Sr. and he preceded her in death on January 11, 1980.
Sara retired from Wilson Sporting Goods of Ada after working for over 37 years.
Surviving are two daughters: Joyce (Terry) Ranes of Lake Placid, Florida and Betty (Don) Carman of Findlay, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Cathy Vermillion of Alger, Ohio; Eleven Grandchildren, Twenty-one Great Grandchildren & Six Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons: George Daniel Vermillion, Jr. and an infant son; one infant daughter; three brothers: Joe Paugh, Doyle Paugh and William Paugh, Jr.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Rev. Calvin Waugh officiating. Burial will be in McDonald-Fairview Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and/or St. Rita’s Hospice of Lima, Ohio.
