Ada dancers hold car wash Saturday for Outback Bowl Trip
Students from Ada's Rhythm In Motion Dance Centre will hold a car wash Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, July 28, in the Padrone's Pizza parking lot at the corner of West Ballard and South Main.
The event is a fundraiser to help for their upcoming New Year's Day trip to perform in the pre-game and half-time festivities for the Outback Bowl.
Students will wash and accept donations to help earn money towards their expenses for this trip. Rhythm in Motion dance students will spend seven days in Tampa, Fla.—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—where they will join 500 dancers from all over the country to perform in front of 63,000 spectators as part of the nationally-known Just For Kix Performance Tour.
Now in its 26th year, Just For Kix is known for their powerful, precision Outback Bowl performances which include first-rate choreography.
"This will be a wonderful opportunity for our local dancers and they want to wash your car this Saturday so they can get a start on making their travel plans for this exciting trip come true! We thank you for your support," said Darcey Schneider of the studio.
If you have any questions or wish to help the dancers with their trip in any other ways, call Dave Smittle at 419-230-8147.
