Take your mind off the heat for a moment. Here's an update of events around Ada from the Area Area Chamber of Commerce:
Something new - Our next membership committee meeting will be held on July 18th. Bright and early at 7:30 a.m. David Dellifield has invited us to have breakfast and our meeting at McIntosh Center. Please RSVP to me when you know if you can attend.
Health Chek now has in stock, Rasberry Keytones and African Mango supplements. This has been a hot topic with Dr. Oz!
Buy Local update - Mark your calendar for July 13th. Friday the 13th will be our first Music on Main event. Reichert's will be having a 3 day sidewalk sale. 12th,13th and 14th.
Other vendors will be putting things on the sidewalks on Friday. Music will be provided by WOMB at the Depot parking lot from 6 - 8 p.m. Rotory is seeling tickets for chicken dinners to be picked up that night at Hay's parking lot. Updates on this event will be posted on the weekly update.
Justin Courtney would like everyone to know about the upcoming ACE Site program. Date is August 21st from 2:00 p.m. - 5: p.m. If your community organazation has a need to have a service project done with ONU freshman, contact Jusin at [email protected].
Exclusive Hair Design in Ada held a fund raising event for the Saurez family this past Monday. They opened their doors on Monday (normally closed) and gave 37 mens haircuts and 19 womans. What a wonderful response from our local residents!
Ada Theatre continues with Brave this weekend, but get your presale ticket for the midnight showing of Spiderman. July 2nd Which is acutually the 3rd at 12:00 a.m. Also on that 3rd there will be a 7:00 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
