Mark Shull introduced retired ONU professor Dennis “Ben” Herr who presented a very interesting program on Internet Radio and what it has meant to him.

Herr said that after retirement began thinking about what he could do to occupy his time.
He then related a story about his fascination with electronics and radio, dating back to his years as a teenager in 1961.

He noted through the magic of radio, he came to enjoy music station WOWO-Wayne, CKLW-Windsor and others.

This fascination led him to his profession-that of an electrical engineer. His three goals were electricity, radio and to listen to as many stations as possible.

He concluded by offering highlights of internet radio: live feeds, audio services and independent webcasters.

The membership thanked Herr for the fascinating program
