It's official - the 2012-13 Ada school year is underway
The school year is officially underway.
Ada High School has 75 seniors this year who will be graduating class of 2013. In addition, 71 seventh grade students launched their junior high career. They will graduate in 2018.
Here are some of the first-day announcement:
New teachers
• Sherri Burnett- Intervention Specialist 6th- 8th
• Tyler Craig- Intervention Specialist 9th -12
• David Ames – English
• Anna Yoakam – English
EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS: Please have parent/guardian stop in the HSO ASAP to update and sign the form.
ATTENTION STUDENTS WHO DRIVE TO SCHOOL: Pick up a parking pass form for a parking tag. Forms are available in the HSO. Tags are free, a replacement tag will cost $1.00.
DEPOSITS FOR LUNCH: Please take them to the cafeteria first thing in the morning.
DON’T FORGET TO PAY YOUR SCHOOL FEES: Fees will need to be paid before attending school dances or going on field trips. This includes the Camp Wilson and Washington D.C. trip.
2 HOUR DELAY FOR TEACHER’S IN-SERVICE: will be Tuesday, August 28th. Follow the bell schedule printed in your agenda. If you have any questions please stop in the HSO.
NO SCHOOL ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS IN SEPTEMBER: There will be NO school on Monday, Sept. 6th for Labor Day and NO school Tuesday, Sept. 7th for the Hardin County Fair.
GRADES 9 THRU 12: If you submit a schedule change form, you must follow your current schedule until the change is approved. Check in the office the following morning and if your schedule change is approved, you will get a new schedule to show the teacher to allow you in the new class.
SODEXO: Is excepting applications for any high school student 16 years of age and older. Please apply at the Main Office in the Food Service Department at Ohio Northern University.
