Pettit College of Law recognized as one of the nation’s most innovative law schools
he Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law was named one of the most innovative schools in the country by The National Jurist and will be featured in the “Back to School” issue of preLaw magazine in August. ONU was one of 20 law schools selected by The National Jurist.
“It is gratifying to be recognized for the hard work our faculty has done to design and implement our new curriculum,” said Stephen Veltri, interim dean of the Pettit College of Law. “Our new curriculum goes well beyond standard law school coursework. It includes clinical opportunities and courses designed to develop professional skills that prepare our students for the practice of law.”
The National Jurist also will publish details about each school on its website in August. In addition to Ohio Northern, other recognized schools include Stanford University, the University of North Carolina and the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
