Ohio Northern sophomore Kristina Klusek was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 22-28.
Klusek scored five goals and added an assist as ONU (10-4-4 overall, 5-3-1 OAC) defeated Wilmington 2-1 and Muskingum 4-1 last week.
She had both goals, including the match-winner with 1:37 left to play, to lead ONU a win at Wilmington on Tuesday.
She then had a hat trick in the first half and added a second half assist as the Polar Bears won 4-1 at Muskingum on Saturday.
This season, Klusek leads ONU in scoring with 33 points on 13 goals and seven assists.
This marks the third time in her career and the first time this season that Klusek has won the award.
The Polar Bears will be the No. 4 seed in this week's OAC Tournament and will host fifth-seeded Wilmington in the quarterfinals Tuesday at 2 pm.
