Check out the busy Ada school November calendar

Ada schools are busy this month. Here's a capsule of events on the school calendar:

DATES TO REMEMBER:
          Nov. 26th Interims will be sent home with students
          Nov. 27th 2-Hour Early Dismiss due to Teacher-In-Service
          Nov. 29th Picture Retake Day- Order forms in the high school office

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES: for students in grades K-12 on Monday, Nov. 19 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 10 to 8 pm. Students will attend school on Monday, Nov. 19. There will not be school on Nov. 20 and 21. Thanksgiving break is Nov. 22 and 23.

ADA ACADEMIC BOOSTERS: Want to win an iPad for Christmas? Sixth graders to 12th graders can qualify. For every 10 boxtops for Education or Campbell Point of Education labels that you bring in, you will receive one chance at winning the grand prize of an iPad. The last day to enter is Dec. 1. The winner will be drawn on the live video feed during morning announcements. Bring your box tops to your English teacher’s classroom. Put 10 labels in a plastic baggie with your name and drop it off to your English teacher. 

LIMA FAMILY YMCA BASKETBALL LEAGUE: Registration for 7th and 8th grade boys will be Nov. 5 to Nov. 30 at the YMCA. Please stop in the high school office for more information.

NORADA LANES JUNIOR BOWLING:  For youth K – 12 starting Saturday mornings at 10 a.m.. Regular season runs through Dec. 1 to March 2 with season ending tournament March 19. Youth will bowl 3 games with a meal and drink for $10. Youth with a parent bowling in an adult league at Norada will be $8.

ATHLETICS: If you’re looking for spirit wear, Mr. Allen has old basketball warm-ups to sell. We have 14 tops and 13 bottoms. First Come, first served.
