Audrey V. Binkley, 1925 - 2012
Audrey V. Binkley, age 87, died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 5:55 am at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.
She was born on June 13, 1925 in Hardin County, Ohio to Simon and LaVella (Carder) Barry, who preceded her in death. She married Darrell Binkley and they were divorced.
Audrey previously worked as a caregiver at Hanley House in Lima. She was a member of the Ada Church of Christ (Disciples). She was a Bible school teacher and volunteer.
Surviving are two sons: Raymond Binkley of Ada and Carey Binkley of LaFollette, Tenn; daughter, Tana Walker of Columbia, S.C.; sister, Portia Carruthers of Port Angeles, Wash.; five grandchildren: Ty Binkley, Shannon Binkley, Amy Cordrick, Brandy England and Catie Walker; several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers: Ben, Robert, Henry, Jay, Arlo, George, Francis and Howard Barry; granddaughter, Christine Stuckey; daughter-in-law, Sharon Binkley; son-in-law, Mike Walker.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 13 at 11:00 am at County Line Church of the Brethren, Harrod.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
