John Romick worked for Sodexo at ONU
John C. Romick, age 57, passed away on Monday December 3, 2012 at 4:11 pm at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born on February 10, 1955 in Lima, Ohio to Merle "Mick" and Jeanette L. "Jan" (Elchert) Romick, who preceded him in death. On May 9, 1987 he married Tina M. Cole, who survives in Lima, Ohio.
John worked for Sodexo at Ohio Northern University, Ada as lead painter.
He attended Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved his dog, Lilly.
Surviving are two sons: Robbie (Audrey) Overs of Kenton and Jason Overs of Phoenix, AZ.; four daughters: Shannon (Jeremy) Kohler of Wapakoneta, Stephanie (Mike) Wince of Lima, Tabitha (Heath) Craig of Rocky River and Ashley (David) Temich-Chiguil of Lima; fourteen grandchildren; three brothers: Michael (Robin) Romick of Bluffton, Patrick Romick of Dunkirk and James (Dawn) Romick of Lima; two sisters: Laura Kinnear of Lima and Debra (Michael) Agin of Charleston, S.C.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger with Pastor Robert Dye officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 2:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
