Trilogy Health Services celebrates 15 years of caring for seniors

Trilogy Health Services, a Louisville, Ky.  based provider of senior living and health care services, is celebrating 15 years of serving seniors across the Midwest. Trilogy currently operates 74 senior living communities throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Illinois.

Richland Manor, Bluffton, is a Trilogy Health Campus.

Founded on Dec. 12, 1997, Trilogy’s customer service-focused culture embraces the tenants of servant leadership and exceeding the expectations of all customers, including residents, family members, employees and members of the community at large. This customer-oriented approach to care is evident at all levels of the organization.

According to Randy Bufford, CEO/President of Trilogy, “We like to say you can feel the difference the minute you walk through the doors of one of our campuses, and you see it everywhere you look. From staff engagement and our focus on customer satisfaction, to the local flavors on our menus, and even the names given to our different residential hallways – everything at a Trilogy campus is focused on our customers’ preferences and helping them have strong social connections, engagement and purpose, while also providing options for all levels of healthcare.”

Employees benefit from this culture through a recognition program that provides awards for tenure, perfect attendance and embodying the Trilogy culture, placing an emphasis on customer service, teamwork, attention to detail, and customer and employee satisfaction.

This focus on employee wellness has resulted in Trilogy Health Services being named a Best Place to work in Kentucky (2008 through 2012), Indiana (2009 through 2012), Ohio (2009, 2011, 2012) and nationally by Modern Healthcare (2009-2012), where the company ranked 20th on the 2012 list of the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare.

Trilogy’s campus communities also benefit from the company’s approach to community support and service. Each year, Trilogy’s home office and campuses participate in two fundraisers, the Independence from Hunger food drive each summer, and Hope for the Holidays each December.

In 2012, the Independence from Hunger food drive raised over 657,000 pounds of food for local food banks and other charities. The Hope for the Holidays fundraiser is still underway for 2012, but in 2011, over $305,000 was donated to local non-profit organizations. The goal for 2012’s holiday fundraiser is to raise $350,000.

“I would like to thank our great campus leaders and team members, and those in our home office support team for their dedication to our mission and vision,” Bufford continued. “I am truly humbled and honored to lead such an outstanding team of healthcare professionals, and I join with our employees across all our campuses in celebrating 15 years of being compassionately committed to excellence in customer service."

Trilogy’s 74 health campus locations are celebrating the company’s 15th Anniversary today with special celebrations, including the reading of a proclamation commemorating the event.
