Ada O. Legge, 1918 - 2013
Ada O. Legge, 94, died at 3:45 p.m. Jan. 6, 2013, at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.
She was born Jan. 23, 1918, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Willie and Hulda Hall Adams, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 9, 1935, she married John W. Legge, who died Sept. 17, 1981.
Mrs. Legge was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, John L. (Nancy) Legge, of Waynesfield; three daughters, Eileen Kindle, of Dunkirk, Katherine (Dave) Mallow, of Botkins, and Jane Bailey, of Deltona, Fla.; and 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Dean Legge, who died in 1964; a daughter, Phyliss Samons, who died in 2006; and two brothers and four sisters.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. The Rev. Gerbert Darlington will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ada Community Health Professionals-Hospice.
