The Inn at ONU offers two special February events - reservations now accepted
Reservations are now being accepted for two special February events at The Inn at ONU. The first is a Valentine's Day food and wine pairing event planned at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 14. The second is a Friday, Feb. 22, dinner mystery theater at 7 p.m.
Feb. 14 food-wine pairing
There is no better way to spend Valentine's Day than at a special food and wine pairing event. Several courses of food will be expertly paired with fine wines.
Morgen Stiegler and Chris Buzzelli, jazz duo, will perform during the evening.
Along with the food, wine and live music, brief interludes of wine education will be presented. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or simply enjoy an occasional glass, you will find the information fun and interesting.
Advance reservations are required and are $45 per person plus tax and gratuity. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.
Feb. 22 mystery theater
A mystery dinner theater "Deadly Dancing" is planned at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22.
The plot:
Pat Sways loves to dance. Promoters often hire Pat and his partner, Louise Crick, to entertain the crowds and compete in marathon dance competitions. Audiences love and follow this cantering couple. But this dance battle may prove their most difficult yet.
Charles Stun, emcee, judge, and dance teacher, plans to watch them carefully, looking for any opportunity to eliminate them.The controversy of the contest brings out protesters,
enthusiasts, and contestants alike.
Has Pat become part of the flim-flam? Will it be a dance to the death? Or will Pat and Louise take home the title and the prize? Don't leap to conclusions. Join the dance derby of the decade. Hop to it! Jive with Mayhem & Mystery, and strut your crime-solving skills. (Script written by Jerry and Tamra Francis.)
Tickets are $28 and include three courses, a non-alcoholic beverage, (tax and tip). Reservation and payment required. Space is limited. Call 419.772.2500 to make your reservation.
