No. 17 men's swimming & diving wins 21st consecutive OAC regular season meet with 150-91 victory at Mount Union

Junior Christian Garlock swept the freestyle sprint events to lead the No. 17-ranked Ohio Northern men's swimming & diving team to a 150-91 victory at Mount Union on Saturday.
The Polar Bears improve to 8-0 overall and are 4-0 in OAC action and extended their OAC regular season winning streak to 21 meets.
The Purple Raiders fall to 6-3, 3-1.
Ohio Northern won 10 of the 13 events in the meet.
Garlock won the 50 free in :22.16 and touched first in the 100 free in :48.25.
Six other Polar Bears won races on the afternoon.
Senior Marc Anderson won the 100 back in :56.08, junior Jordan Breitigam won the 100 fly in :52.67, sophomore Spencer Franzoi won the 200 I.M. in 2:08.07 and freshman Connor Wood won the 100 breast in 1:02.05.
Northern swept the diving events, with junior Kyle Rex winning the 3-meter diving with 164.40 points and freshman Tyler Siefring winning the 1-meter diving with 145.65 points.
Anderson, senior Drew Keriazes, Breitigam and junior John Beaschler won the 400 medley relay in 3:37.31.
Beaschler, Anderson, Keriazes and Garlock combined to win the 200 free relay in 1:31.00.
The Polar Bears will return to action Friday with a dual at Kenyon and will wrap up the home portion of their schedule next Saturday with a 1 pm battle with Baldwin Wallace on Senior Day at the ONU Sports Center.
