Women's basketball moves up to No. 8 in seventh weekly D3Hoops.com poll

The Ohio Northern women's basketball team moved up one more spots to a season-high ranking of No. 8 in the seventh weekly D3hoops.com poll.
The Polar Bears received 439 votes in the poll, 27 more than the 412 they received in last week's poll.
DePauw (Ind.) stayed at the top of the poll with 623 points and 23 of the 25 first place votes, Calvin (Mich) is ranked second with 598 points and the two remaining first place votes and Hope (Mich.) is third with 525 points.
ONU was ranked No. 9 in last week's poll, was No. 12 in the fifth poll, was No. 15 in the fourth poll, was No. 17 in the third poll, was No. 20 in the second poll and was No. 24 in the first poll.
Ohio Northern has won 13 games in a row, has an overall record of 14-1 and is in first place in the Ohio Athletic Conference with an 8-0 mark.
The Polar Bears will be in action again on Wednesday when they play host to Wilmington in a 7:30 p.m. contest..
