Women's basketball moves up to No. 9 in sixth weekly D3Hoops.com poll

The Ohio Northern women's basketball team moved up three more spots to a season-high ranking of No. 9 in the sixth weekly D3hoops.com poll.
The Polar Bears received 412 votes in the poll, 76 more than the 336 they received in last week's poll.
DePauw (Ind.) stayed at the top of the poll with 623 points and 24 of the 25 first place votes, Calvin (Mich) is ranked second with 574 points and the remaining first place vote and Washington (Mo.) is third with 567 points.
ONU was ranked No. 12 in last week's poll, was No. 15 in the fourth poll, was No. 17 in the third poll, was No. 20 in the second poll and was No. 24 in the first poll.
Ohio Northern has won 12 games in a row and has an overall record of 13-1 and is in first place in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 6-0 mark.
The Polar Bears will be in action again on Wednesday when they travel to Heidelberg for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
