Gary Wells was a 1966 Ada High School graduate
Gary F. "Frank" Wells, age 64, died Friday, February 15, 2013, at 7:42 PM at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
Gary was born on August 30, 1948, in Paintsville, Kentucky to George Ireland and Willia (Hyden) Wells and they preceded him in death. On June 25, 1967, he married Judy A. Patton, and she survives in Findlay.
Gary worked in the maintenance department at Whirlpool Corporation in Findlay for 40 years.
He was a member of the Upper Room Church of God, Findlay. Gary was a 1966 graduate of Ada High School. He was a former member of the Ada Lions Club for 10 years.
Surviving are a son, Gary J. (Kelly) Wells of Ada; adaughter, Amy Jo Ray Wilkinson of Findlay; father-in-law, Joe Patton of Findlay; 2 brothers-in-law, Mike Patton of Lexington, Kentucky, & Buce (Stacey) Patton of Lima; 4 sisters, June Trimble of Marion, Thelma (Neil) McCullough of Mt. Victory, Sue (Ernest) Hopson, Jr. of Ada, & Sharon (Harold) Music of Ada; 6 grandchildren, Cody (Shay) Wells, Hunter Wells, Xander Wells, Sarah Ray, Hannah Ray, & Molly Wilkinson; and 2 great grandchildren, Abbey & Jace Wells.
He was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Earnesteen Patton; brother, Arlie Wells; 2 sisters, Helen Pack & Julia Napier; half-sister, Mildred Panasky; & 4 half-brothers, Bill, Ernest, Darvin, & Jack Wells.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Terry McBeath officiating.
Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Monday, February 18, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, and/or the Upper Room Church of God, Findlay.
