Gregory Martin was an Upper Scioto Valley graduate
Gregory Martin, 46, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died the morning of Feb. 15, 2013, at Park Ridge Apartments in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was born May 10, 1966, in Lima to Richard and Joy Helton Martin. His father preceded him in death, and his mother survives in Ada.
Mr. Martin was a maintenance worker at Park Ridge Apartments, Colorado Springs, Colo. He was a 1984 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School, McGuffey.
Survivors also include a son, Gregg Desmond Martin, of Ada; a daughter, Hannah Joy Martin, of Ada; a brother, John P. Martin, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Lisa Martin Manns, of Sarasota, Fla., and Melissa J. “Missy” Martin, of Ada; and three nephews, a niece, a great-niece and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Howard and Mary Martin; and maternal grandparents, Charlie and Ivory Helton.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ada Full Gospel Church, Ada. The Rev. Karen Rarey will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
