Hancock ag hall of fame inductees honored March 14
The annual Farmers’ Share Breakfast, presented by the the Agri-Business Committee of the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, will be held at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, March 14, at Brugeman Lodge at Riverbend Park.
The speaker for the event will be the winner of the local Future Farmers of America (FFA) public speaking contest. This year’s breakfast will also feature an update from Jennifer Wilson, Ohio Farm Bureau Organization Director for Allen, Paulding, Putnam and Van Wert counties, and a past scholarship recipient.
The 2013 Inductees of the Hancock County Agricultural Hall of Fame will be recognized. Tickets are available at the Chamber office.
Cost to attend is $3 each, with a limit of 10 tickets. Purchase tickets at the Chamber of Commerce office at 123 E. Main Cross St., Findlay, or call 419-422-3313.
Hancock County Agriculture Hall of Fame
The Purpose of the Hancock County Agriculture Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor outstanding contributions to agriculture by Hancock County community members. Men or women who have been instrumental to the success and excellence of agriculture, either as a farmer or in an agriculturally related field.=
