Joanna Snyder named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 team

Senior Joanna Snyder has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 team for women's basketball in voting done by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Snyder, who has a double major in mathematics and education, will now move on to the national ballot for Academic All-America.
This season, she has started in all 20 contests and ranks second on the team in scoring at 13.8 ppg and in rebounding at 6.2 rpg.
The Capital One Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their performance on the floor and in the classroom.
To be eligible, the athlete must be a starter or key reserve with a grade point average of 3.30 or better.
No. 6 Ohio Northern has won a school record 18 games and currently stands at 19-1 on the season and 13-0 in the OAC.
The Polar Bears will be in action again on Saturday when they travel to face off against Muskingum at 3 pm.
