Women's basketball moves up to No. 3 in D3hoops.com poll; remains No. 3 in USA Today sports poll

The Ohio Northern women's basketball team moved up to No. 3 in the D3hoops.com poll and remained No. 3 in the USA Today Sports Division III Top 25 Coaches poll.
The Polar Bears received 555 points in the D3hoops.com poll, which was 18 more than they received in last weeks poll.
DePauw (Ind.) stayed at the top of the poll with 621 points and 22 of the 25 first place votes and Hope (Mich) is ranked second with 595 points and the three remaining first place votes.
ONU was ranked No. 4 in the last two polls, No. 5 in the tenth poll, No. 6 in the ninth poll, No. 8 in the seventh and eighth poll, No. 9 in the sixth poll, was No. 12 in the fifth poll, was No. 15 in the fourth poll, was No. 17 in the third poll, was No. 20 in the second poll and was No. 24 in the first poll.
In the USA Today Sports poll, Northern received 179 points, which was two more than last week.
DePauw (Ind.) remained No. 1 with 200 points, followed by Hope (Mich.) with 192 points and ONU with 179 points.
Ohio Northern has won the OAC regular season and tournament championship.
The Polar Bears stand at 26-1 on the season and have won 25 games in a row.
ONU will be in action again when it plays Hanover (Ind.) in the first round of the NCAA III Tournament at Hope (Mich.) College on Friday at a time to be determined.
