““Thoughts are ephemeral, they evaporate in the moment they occur, unless they are given action and material form. Wishes and intentions, the same. Meaningless, unless they impel you to one choice or another, some deed or course of action, however insignificant. Thoughts that lead to action can be dangerous. Thoughts that do not, mean less than nothing.”

Bethel Church of Christ, 4041 County Road 304, Ada, holds a back-to-school “Urge” event for 7th graders through high school seniors and the public, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 26, at the church.
The event’s focus, according to sponsors, is to encourage students to do well in the upcoming school year and to urge them to be who God wants them to be in their schools.
According to sponsors: “Urge is designed to help them to see the importance of shining their light and being Jesus in their schools. This year's message is calling for students to make an impact in their schools.”
