Betty Rose Mann, 1939 - 2013
Betty Rose Mann, age 73, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 2:15 AM at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born August 8, 1939 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to Leander and Laura (Watkins) Rowe, they preceded her in death.
On December 25, 1958 she married Herman Mann and he preceded her in death on September 30, 1991.
Betty attended Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Surviving are her children: Pam (Dan) Beverly, Paula (John) Manns and Brian Howard all of Alger; three grandchildren: Lacie (Mike Kirchgessner) Beverly, Catie Collins & Grant Collins; two step grandchildren: Johnny Manns & Amy Manns; a brother, Stratton (Bonnie) Minix of Alger; a sister, Dorothy (Bill) Huff of Alger; two sisters-in-law: Sally Rowe & Cleda Dysert both of Alger; special friend, Amos Caudill of Kenton; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Hargis Rowe & Harlow Rowe; a sister, Margie Gartside.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 18, at Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, 2040 Township Road 120, Alger with Pastor Robert Dye officiating.
Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Memorials contributions may be made to Charity of the Donor's Choice.
