As summer winds down, the days grow shorter, and we spend more time indoors. For some people, the changing seasons bring more than an adjustment to cooler weather. They bring noticeable changes in mood, energy, sleep, and motivation.
FROM FACEBOOK__The Ada public library is hosting a Horror Book Group that is meeting on Tuesday, October 20 at 7:00 PM.
This month, they will read the book "How to Sell a Haunted House" by Grady Hendrix. It'll take more than some new paint to get this place on the market, but some houses don't want to be sold...
Copies are available at the front desk of the Ada Public Library. The library is located at 320 N, Main St., Ada.
MEDIA RELEASE__The Sheila Coressel for State Representative - Ohio 83rd Cups & Conversation Tour is heading to Ada for its fourth stop on a five-stop tour across the district.
Coressel invites area residents to join her Saturday, October 10, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Starbucks, 534 S. Main St. Grab a coffee and have a conversation with the candidate.
“Cups & Conversation is about making time to listen,” said Coressel. “I want to hear directly from the people I hope to represent. I want to hear about what’s working, what isn’t and what you want to see from

NORTHWOOD__The visiting Ada High School boys soccer team ended a six-game road swing on a high note by beating new North Central Ohio Soccer Association member Northwood 6-1 on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The Bulldogs improved to 7-6-1 overall and finished 2-4 in the rugged NCOSA after the road win. Miller City leads the league at 4-0.
Northwood fell to 4-10-1 and 1-3 in the NCOSA after the home loss.
Ada led 4-1 at halftime and was never seriously threatened. Senior speedster Andrew Allen pumped in four goals to pace the onslaught.

Anyone who was at the following locations during these times may have been exposed to measles:
• NWO Urgent Care on September 29, 2026 between 2:30-5:30 p.m.
• Blanchard Valley Hospital Emergency Department on September 29, 2026 between 3:30-6:30 p.m.
