Burns leads men's golf to fourth place finish at Trine (Ind.) A.C. Eddy Invitational

Junior Colin Burns carded a 5-over par 76 to lead the Ohio Northern men's golf team to a fourth place finish at the Trine (Ind.) A.C. Eddy Invitational on Wednesday at the Zollnerg Golf Course.
The Polar Bears (43-17-1 overall) finished fourth of six teams with a 318.
Trine won the team title with a 290, Huntington (Ind.) was second with a 298 and Calumet (Ind.) was third with a 312.
Burns finished tied for 11th out of 51 golfers with his 76 over the 6,384-yard, par-71 course.
Junior Ryan Wirtz shot a 79 to finish tied for 25th, sophomore Andrew Quintrell tied for 28th with an 80 and freshman Brandon Lambert was 40th with an 83.
Trine's Pat Wolcott took Medalist honors with a 1-under par 70.
The Polar Bears will return to action April 24-25 at the OAC Spring Invitational at Otterbein.
