Lauren Rife picks up 100th career win to lead women's tennis to 9-0 win over Muskingum

Senior Lauren Rife became the 10th player in Ohio Northern women's tennis history to win 100 matches, as the Ohio Northern women's tennis team clinched the OAC regular season title outright with a 9-0 win over Muskingum on Saturday afternoon at the University Courts.
The Polar Bears are now 23-4 on the season and 9-0 in OAC play. The Muskies fall to 1-8, 1-8.
This is the third straight OAC regular season title for ONU.
Northern will also be the top seed in the OAC Tournament and host Muskingum on Wednesday at 3:30 pm.
Rife teamed with freshman Christina Corbean to win 8-0 at No. 2 doubles.
She then posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles for her milestone victory.
Sophomore Brittany Miller and freshman Taryn Stromback posted an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles.
Juniors Michelle Tuma, Carly Olmstead and Kelsi Wurm all won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 singles respectively.
Freshman Meghan Letizia also won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles for ONU.
Northern won No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles by forfeit.
