The secret’s out. The Buy Ada First Committee, planning the community’s third cash mob, this week announced the location of the event.

The cash mob takes place at one of Ada’s prominent retail businesses, New Leaf Garden Center, 0395 Ohio 235 - Ada, from 2 to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 23.

“Laurie Laird welcomed our invitation to host this event,” said Heather Cox, member of the committee. “We hope to continue more cash mobs in Ada this year.”

Cox said that to make the cash mob even more inviting to customers, New Leaf Garden Center will offer 10% percent off all items from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on April 23. Drawing more attention to the mob, the Buy Ada First Committee will be handing out information on the benefits of buying local.
