Ohio Northern senior Taylor Daniel (Columbia City, Ind.) was named a All-American Scholar for 2019-20 by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.

Daniel is now a three-time WGCA All-American Scholar and is a three-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree.

She is currently ranked 20th all-time in ONU women's golf history with a 95.02 stroke average for 48 career rounds.

The WGCA honored 1,401 women's collegiate golfers with this honor, which carried a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

In College of Law and Pharmacy

Several Ohio Northern University faculty are involved in projects completed this spring or are on-going this summer. Those projects follow:

Melissa Kidder, assistant professor of law and director of legal clinics and externships, and her research assistant, third-year law student Amanda Olson, teamed up analyze ONU's transition to online learning. 

The project, “5 Small Ways Students Stayed Engaged in Online Learning,” was accepted as a session proposal by CALIcon2020: Law School In the Time of Pandemic, and it was made available on June 5 as an audio presentation.

Supplemental contracts for 2020-21 memorandum with AEA on the agenda

The Ada Exempted Village School Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 2, in the board room.

The purpose is to act on several items including:

• Memorandum of Understanding with the Ada Education Association regarding supplemental contracts for the 2020-2021 school year

• Approve supplemental contracts for the 2020-2021 school year

• Approve a contract for athletic training coverage 

• Approve resignation of a certified employee due to retirement

• Budget modifications
