Alison Steinbrunner named Capital One Academic All-District

Senior Alison Steinbrunner has been named Capital One Academic All-District 7 for Women's Track & Field/Cross Country, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
This is the third consecutive year the pharmacy major has received this honor.
She will now move on to the national ballot, with first, second and third team All-Americans being selected in June.
Steinbrunner concluded her career with another brilliant season.
In cross country, she won her fourth straight OAC championship and second straight regional title.
In addition, she came in second place at the NCAA III Championships, earning her third consecutive All-American honor.
During the indoor and outdoor track season, Steinbrunner broke three of her own school records and two more OAC records.
She qualified for the NCAA III Championships in the indoor 5,000-meter run.
Steinbrunner concludes her career as the school record holder in six track events, as well as the 5k and 6k in cross country.
