Donald O. Goldsmith, age 81, died on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio.

He was born on May 12, 1931 in Allen County, Ohio to Edward V. and Reva L. (Cook) Goldsmith, who preceded him in death. On June 30, 1956 he married Barbara E. Rose and she survives in Carey, Ohio.

Donald retired from Marathon Electric of Lima, where he worked as a generator connector and a winder. He was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God in Kenton.

Also surviving are a son, James E. (Lori) Goldsmith of Kenton; three daughters: Debra P. (Dennis) Snyder of Waynesfield, Susan D. (Robert) Hunsaker of Carey and Malea J. (Eric) Osborn of St. John's, Florida; ten grandchildren: Daran Snyder, Derek Snyder, Joe (Heidi) Hunsaker, Justin (Brandy) Hunsaker, Zac (Michelle) Goldsmith, Jasmin (Eric) Risner, Wes Goldsmith, Ali Goldsmith, Morgan Osborn and McKenna Osborn; nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Goldsmith and a sister, Doris Venezia.

Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 1010 East Franklin Street, Kenton, Ohio with Pastor James E. Goldsmith officiating.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 2 p.m. unitl 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at Abundant Life Assembly of God, Kenton.
