Lynette Darlington DePaoli, 62, formerly of Ada, died at 9:15 p.m., May 2, 2013, in Verona, Italy.

She was born Nov. 12, 1950, in Plattsburg, N.Y., the daughter of Dr. Oscar G. and Miriam W. Darlington. They preceded her in death.

She was a 1969 Ada High School graduate and had been an art major at Ohio Northern University where he father was Dean of Liberal Arts. She married Paolo DePaoli on Aug. 25, 1974. The couple made their home in Verona, Italty.

In addition to her husband, and son,  Leonardo, she is survived by eight siblings:
Helen (Frank) Scalzi of Lima; Dawn (Jim) Tallman of Warren; Mahlon (Dayle Nickerson) Darlington of Ames, Iowa; Phoebe (Jim) Reed of Lima; Gerbert (Linda) Darlington of Elida; Eunice (Tom) Hutson of Wellington; Emily-Jane (Robert) Hoover of Bend, Ore.; and Bernice (James) Brady) of Saugerties, N.Y.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Italy. There will be a family service in Ohio over the Memorial Day weekend.
